I was supposed to be putting on a show this weekend, but my band seems to have gone and gotten itself arrested. That's more than annoying, as I'm not sure how I'll procure other musicians by Saturday.

I don't suppose anybody out there is looking for a bit of illegal fun, are they?

Finally I can sleep. Last night was the best sleep I've had since Basch was falsely accused and taken away from me. I don't know why anybody thinks that man would ever hurt even a fly. Clearly, there's something weird going on here.

Thank you, those of you that have been supportive of Basch during this. It's greatly appreciated, and any further assistance you could offer to keeping him permanently out of prison would be wonderful as well. After all there's no need to put an innocent man behind bars.

Aside from helping him and the lawyers concentrate on his defense, I've been wondering if we ought to put off planning the wedding until after the trial, but part of me would like to go through with it anyway. I'm not sure which is the better idea--I shall have to discuss it with Basch.

They moved the filming of the second movie to the end of February/beginning of March. I'm honestly hoping for further delays in shooting, as terrible as that may sound. I don't want to go back until I'm sure Basch is safe.

It's good to be back in Japan again, though I'll admit I managed to have a bit of fun in America. I enjoyed doing the talk show circuit there, but I could have lived without ever having to go and do The View. Never again. Ever.

Or Fox news. They seemed to disapprove of my pants. Another annoying show was the one with that old blonde lady. Her eyes seem to be completely fake, and the right one never seemed to move or blink.

Ah, but enough of that. More importantly, I am home and I can be with Basch again. I plan to go visit him first thing tomorrow morning with the lawyer. This will be sorted out, and whoever caused this will pay dearly. Preferably, this will be sorted out before filming begins again in February.

It looks as though I will not be able to do anything for Basch before I get back from another round of doing American talk shows. It's annoying, but somebody else who isn't Vossler will have to visit him in jail while I'm gone. Somebody... please keep him company.

Reno, I apologize. I won't be able to talk to you about this matter until I return. When I'm back, perhaps we can meet up to discuss this over coffee?



(ooc: If any of these sentences seem off or out of order a little I really apologize. I have a hard time going from Spanish back to English after tests and it typically takes me a few hours to get my head back on right and my words in the correct order. Part of learning to think in the language I guess. Same goes for Fate and Vayne's posts. XD; Lo siento!)

The initial worry and fear I felt for Basch has quite quickly turned to fury. I'm not sure who I'm more angry with right now: Sephiroth for pressing the charges, Basch for allowing himself to be taken advantage of or for possibly lying to me, or whoever framed him so easily. I absolutely cannot believe that Basch, the sweetest, nicest, most naive man in the world could do something so hateful and cruel to a child he more or less raised. Basch considers to Rufus to be his son, not simply his employer!

Even though I will have to spend quite a bit of time out of the country promoting the movie this week, I am going to find time to spend with Basch. I'm going to get him out of there, and whoever did this is going to pay.

I just saw it on the news! Basch has apparently been arrested for trying to murder Rufus! Something about gas canisters and the video was on the news. I don't want to believe it but...

Seeing myself on screen like that was the strangest thing that I've ever seen. I cringed in time every time it came to a shot where the side of my face had been bruised. I think they worked it into the script really well though.

Overall, I'm pleased with how the movie turned out! I hope everybody will go and see it when it's released here tomorrow.


I thought Basch did well on the red carpet. His reaction to all the attention was amusing.

Tomorrow we leave for the premieres of the movie. The first is Wednesday night. We should return on the 1st.

Go and watch it. Halloween seems a brilliant time to release a movie about sky pirates, does it not? Though I just remembered, it won't be out here until the 3 of November.

It's going to be so weird to watch myself on screen.


Dad, are you going?

I wasn't expecting to be suddenly called out of town like that, but there was a problem with a couple of my shots and I had to go back and do an emergency re-shoot. Then they decided to send me around the American and British talk-show circuits before sending me home to do more promos.

It's been more fun than I expected, but I'm ready to take a break. Again.
